Structure of the tables

The following chapters show the open ports of the respective interface.

The tables are structured identically and contain the following information:

  • Service/function: Name of the service or function used by the respective port.
  • Port: Number of the port.
  • Protocol: The protocol used by the port to communicate, e.g. UDP or TCP.
  • Factory setting: The value indicates whether the function is activated by default. The following options are available here:
    • Active: The function is active ex works and cannot be deactivated.
    • Can be activated: The function is inactive ex works and can be activated.
    • Can be deactivated: The function is active ex works and can be deactivated.
  • Authentication: The value indicates whether authentication is performed. If authentication is performed, it is also indicated whether the password must meet certain requirements.
  • Operation: The value indicates whether the function is required for operation.
  • Engineering: The value indicates whether the function is required for engineering. Engineering primarily includes functions that affect startup or diagnostics. Ports that are required only for engineering can be closed during operation.
  • Authorization/description: This section describes which access rights are required by the service and its function.
