Shutdown

CAUTION

Risk of injury from arcing during a high-energy discharge (between two conductive metals).
Minor injuries.
  • Make sure control cabinets are kept closed unless electrical components are de-energized.
  • Disconnect any energy storage units such as accumulators from the electronics. Observe the measures for shutdown of the products used.
  • Switch off other voltage sources.
  • Before switching on the product, make sure that the protective cover is in place over the connections.
  • Ensure that the product is insulated as far as possible and that no conductive foreign bodies can penetrate.

To shut down the product, disconnect it from the power supply using appropriate measures. For more information, refer to chapter Connecting or disconnecting plug connectors.
