Installation notes

  • Comply with the instructions referring to the technical data and the permissible conditions where the device is operated.
  • Select suitable cables. Connect cables according to the circuit documentation. When doing so, observe the applicable safety regulations and standards.
  • The maximum voltage in the DC link is DC 60 V. The service life of the product is not reduced with 60 V operation. Note the regenerative energy for vertical axes, for example.
  • The minimum voltage in the DC link is DC 20 V. If the voltage is lower than 20 V, the function of the product is no longer guaranteed. The STO function is activated. Note that at voltages lower than DC 48 V, the nominal speed and/or nominal torque of the servomotors (DC 48 V/AC 34 V) is no longer guaranteed. Note the voltage dip during acceleration processes.
  • Use the drive only in systems that comply with the requirements of protection class 3 according to EN 61140.
  • The devices are not intended for operation on current supply units or power supply units. The supplying power supply units must meet the isolation requirements according to IEC 60364-4-41 SELV/PELV. The supplying PELV system must not exceed the limit values for extra-low voltage according to EN 61800-5-1.
