Process sequence and signal states
INFORMATION

For the behavior of the drive at standstill, observe the information in section "Stop functions" in the "Control functions" configuration menu of the inverter.
INFORMATION

If the motion sequence is interrupted by removing the enable signals enable/reset = "0" or mode "00" (application stop) or when leaving FCB 09 (positioning), the travel process must be restarted by setting "Apply relative position". The target position is recalculated and saved, i.e. the drive moves to a different target position than originally desired. If the movement is not to be aborted but only interrupted (while retaining the original target position), the drive can be stopped by removing the direction of movement (start/stop – positive or start/stop – negative). If the movement must be interrupted by an application stop or by removing the enable, the "Fixed pitch" function can be used.
No. | Procedure | Data bit | Signal states |
|---|---|---|---|
[1] | Output stage enable/reset | DO 0 |
|
Operating mode 2^0 | DO 3 |
| |
Operating mode 2^1 | DO 4 |
| |
[2] | Activation of the direction of movement for the relative movement. If the direction of movement is reversed or an ambiguous direction of movement is set during travel to the first target, the drive is stopped and continues to the original target when a direction of movement is set again. | DO 1 |
|
[2] | Specification of the distance (relative position) | DO 5 | Activation of the required table position Example: Table position 2^0 selected |
[3] to [4] | At this time, a target position is specified if the response to the touchprobe signal is set accordingly. The target position results from the current actual position and the selected table position. | - |
|
[6] | Restart sensor-based positioning | DO 7 | Sensor-based positioning is restarted with the rising edge of this signal. And the "new relative position applied" signal is reset. |
[8] to [9] | Interruption of travel by removing start/stop – positive | DO 1 | The motor decelerates along the set table deceleration and then stops subject to position control. |
Up to [3], [5] to [6] and from [10] | "In position" | DI 1 |
If the actual position lies within the configured window width, the feedback "In position" is issued and the corresponding bit of the table actual position is set. The drive stops subject to position control. |
