Safety technology

When using the safety technology with the MOVISAFE® CS..A safety card, the "inverter control" function cannot be used together with the software module. This can cause misalignments or tensions in the system and prevent the use of the anti-sway control. In this case, the user must take into account the enables and setpoint values according to the safety functions in their sequential program.

"SLS" safety function

If the "SLS" safety function is also used, the limit speed must be selected large enough so that the control technology of the software module does not cause the limit speed to be exceeded. For this purpose, both slip and slip compensation speed as well as the speed correction of the position controller and anti-sway control are taken into account in addition to the setpoint speed.

"SLP" safety function

If the "SLP" safety function is used, the deceleration ramp must be selected accordingly.

"SSx" safety function

If the "SSX" safety function is used in combination with the software module, the change in the travel profile by the anti-sway control must be taken into account. On the one hand, this can be done via a speed offset (see "v1" in the figure) or a time delay (see "t2" in the figure).

The following figure shows an example of a speed profile with activated anti-sway control. The green line represents the jerk-limited setpoint profile and the blue line represents the changed travel profile due to anti-sway control.
