Network components

Observe the following when selecting the network components for an EtherNet/IP™ network:

• Use only industry-standard network components.

• Use industry-standard switches.

• Use fast Ethernet according to IEEE802.3u.

• The managed switch must support VLAN tagging according to IEEE802.1Q.
