Determining the load moment of inertia

  1. Set up load cycling for the vehicle. The function block MomentInertiaMeasurement provides the functions for this (see "Moment Inertia Measurement" auxiliary block). The following figure shows an example for connection:
  2. Activate load cycling.
  3. Ensure that the "Startup" phase is active in MOVISUITE®.
  4. In MOVISUITE®, click the [Determine load moment of inertia] button for the axis in menu "3.2.1 Set load moment of inertia".
  • The load inertia is determined and set.
