The following table shows fault diagnostics options for malfunctions of the brake:

Max. permitted working air gap exceeded because brake lining worn down

  • Contact SEW‑EURODRIVE
  • Have brake lining replaced by SEW‑EURODRIVE Service or a qualified technician trained by SEW‑EURODRIVE

Brake defective

  • Contact SEW‑EURODRIVE
  • Have brake replaced by SEW‑EURODRIVE Service or a qualified technician trained by SEW‑EURODRIVE

Motor does not brake

Brake lining worn

  • Contact SEW‑EURODRIVE
  • Have brake lining replaced by SEW‑EURODRIVE Service or a qualified technician trained by SEW‑EURODRIVE

Incorrect braking torque

  • Contact SEW‑EURODRIVE
  • Have braking torque changed by SEW‑EURODRIVE Service or a qualified technician trained by SEW‑EURODRIVE

Oil leakage (only with gearmotors)
