Variable gear ratio master/slave
The additional function "variable gear ratio master/slave" allows you to specify the gear ratio between master and slave via process data.
Activating the function extends the standard process data by 4 process data words (numerator: 2 process data words, denominator: 2 process data words). In this case, only the data from the fieldbus is processed. The gear ratio specified by the configuration is ignored.
The specified gear ratio is applied after selecting a synchronous operation mode (1000 to 1004). The currently active gear ratio is transferred to the process input data. Numerator and denominator must not be 0. If one of the two values is 0, an error is triggered (error = 104, suberror = 84) even if the axis is currently moving.
The gear ratio should be changed when the slave axis is at a standstill because the change takes effect immediately. As a result, high accelerations can occur while the axis is moving.
