Operation (diagnostics via external IO systems)
To pass values to the storage function block, they must be connected to the inputs of the storage function blocks. If one of the "OCE1nC" function blocks or the "Phoenix_AXLFBKEC" function block is used, the input variables can be directly connected with the respective inputs of the IO system. For the function block of type StorageManual, the values might have to be converted.
The transfer parameters depend on the storage type used. With LSMtron, for example, only the temperature and the overvoltage bit are required. With StorageManual or StorageOCE1nC_PTn, all parameters are required. All "in" parameters must be "wired" to IOs (SW and HW). The maximum number of available parameters is listed in the following table (the other function block types have the same or fewer parameters):

Special storage connection types are available for OCE1nC IO and "Phoenix_AXLFBKEC" systems with storage units from LSMTron and MOVI‑DPS® (EKS). The OCE11_On_PTnSensor variant is also available. The PTn sensor variant can work with the integer temperature values from the OAI45C IO module and converts the value internally. This variant is not linked to a specific type of storage unit but to an analog input module that must be configured as a temperature input.

The OAI41C voltage measuring module is recommended for MOVI-DPS® or the SEW‑EURODRIVE EKS energy storage unit. For Phoenix_AXLFBKEC, the AXL f RTD8 1f analog input module is supported.
