37088

Immediate energy storage disconnection (30)

The connected energy storage reports a general error

The cause differs depending on the storage interface. Possible causes are communication interruption, wire break or overvoltage.

16#90E1

37089

Delayed storage unit disconnection (20)

The connected energy storage unit reports overtemperature.

  • Heavy load on the energy storage unit due to high currents
  • High external temperature or high temperature in the control cabinet
  • Reduce the current load, i.e. increase the supply power.
  • If necessary, check the ventilation (e.g. clean dust filters).

16#90E2

37090

The connected energy storage unit reports undertemperature.

Temperature in the control cabinet is too low.

The storage unit is operated in an environment for which it is not designed.

Adjust the environment for operating the storage unit.

16#90E3

37091

Immediate energy storage disconnection (30)

The connected energy storage unit reports a wire break.

Wire break or loose contacts on the communication lines to the storage unit.

Check the communication lines to the storage unit for loose contacts or wire break.

16#90E4

37092

Immediate energy storage disconnection (30)

The connected energy storage unit reports overvoltage.

Overvoltage in at least one of the cells in the storage unit

  • Energy storage unit discharged.
  • Check the module for defect.
  • Measure the voltage at the energy storage unit and against PE (UDSK+ to UDSK-, UDSK+ to PE and UDSK- to PE). The voltage at the energy storage unit must not exceed 3 V. The voltage to PE must be 0 V each.
  • Measure and record the voltage of each module. The maximum difference of the individual values must not exceed 1 V. Otherwise contact SEW‑EURODRIVE Service.

16#90E5

37093

Immediate energy storage disconnection (30)

The connected storage unit reports an overtemperature warning.

The storage unit temperature is higher than the set warning threshold.

No action required, continue monitoring the storage unit temperature and reduce storage load if necessary.

16#90E6

37094

At least one measured temperature differs greatly from the others.

  • Temperature sensor is faulty.
  • Storage module is defective or very old.
  • Check the temperature sensor.
  • Check the storage module and have it replaced by SEW‑EURODRIVE Service if necessary.
