Deenergizing the top drive in an idle state for an emergency stop

Since drives are energized in the idle state, it is recommended in the case of the top drive to deactivate the current supply to the drive in the idle state. To deactivate the current supply to the drive in the idle state, proceed as follows:

  1. Open the configuration for the drive.
  2. On the "Drive functions" configuration menu, on the "FCB 14 Emergency stop" submenu, select "Drive deenergized" in the "Behavior in idle state" box in the "Stop function" section.
