Deactivate external encoder (bit 11)

Before the Deactivate external encoder bit (bit 11) is set, the Activate inhibit bit (bit 13) must be set to reset the controller
In the event of a defective encoder, the storage/retrieval system can be moved in emergency mode by setting the Deactivate external encoder bit (bit 11). In this case only jog mode is possible because the absolute position is no longer available. If a vertical drive with a steel rope is used, then the rope winch can be moved without the need for a moving lifting carriage and consequently a moving external encoder (for example to reel up the rope onto the cable drum in the event of servicing). As long as the external encoder is deactivated, the "Referenced" bit in the status word is set to "FALSE".
