Basic settings

Use braking resistor for synchronization

INFORMATION: A braking resistor can only be connected to MDP92A.

Use a braking resistor to reduce the DC link voltage when adjusting the voltages and during the charging test. Storage synchronization can in this way be significantly accelerated or, if a permanently installed MDC90A capacitor module is used, made possible at all.

Deactivate automatic axis standstill monitoring

Deactivates the automatic monitoring of axes connected to the software module in DC synchronization mode whether the axis is at standstill and in output stage inhibit. Deactivation is only useful in the following cases:

  • Third-party axes are used
  • SEW axes without MOVIKIT® are used
  • For old systems due to downward compatibility

Contactor installed in positive supply line

Activate if a second contactor for automated disconnection of all poles of the energy storage unit is also installed.
