Energy storage discharge

The energy storage discharge is set using the following parameters:

  • External resistor – resistance
  • Ohmic resistance of connected braking resistor according to data sheet.
  • Default value: 12 ohms
  • External resistor – maximum continuous power
  • Continuous power that can be dissipated in heat in kW according to data sheet.
  • Default value: 0.0 kW
  • Brake chopper switch-on threshold
  • Voltage limit from which an attempt is made to limit the voltage by switching on the brake chopper.
  • Default value: 860.000 V
  • Brake chopper hysteresis
  • Voltage difference to the switch-on threshold of the brake chopper for switching off again.
  • Default value: 30.000 V

 

If the parameters are not set correctly (e.g. 0 kW), the software module signals a fault when activating the "Energy storage discharge" operating mode and the operating mode cannot be used.
