Configuring MOVIKIT® Gearing

To use the software module, the following steps must be performed for the lower-level axes:

INFORMATION

For detailed information on how to configure MOVIKIT® Gearing, refer to the corresponding documentation.
  1. Start up the drive train according to the system geometry in the "Drive train DT1" configuration menu of the axis. Configure the unit for "Position", "Speed", and "Acceleration" to the user unit mm with the time base s or s2.
  2. Optimize the drive train using the "Optimization DT1" configuration menu of the axis.
  3. Assign the MOVIKIT® Gearing software module to the axis (NOTE: If you have already made this assignment before adjusting the drive train, use the "Apply resolution to drive train" button in the "Scaling" submenu of the "Drive functions" configuration menu of MOVIKIT® Gearing to adopt the resolution of the drive train).
  4. Make sure that the fieldbus connection is deactivated in the "Fieldbus interface" configuration menu of MOVIKIT® Gearing (default setting). The individual axes are controlled by the higher-level software node with the MOVIKIT® CombiTelescope.
  5. To be able to specify a jerk via process data using the single-axis operating modes, activate the "Variable jerk" function in the "Basic settings" configuration menu of the axis.
