Module description

MOVIKIT^® CombiTelescope is a software module for implementing load handling devices (LHD) of the type "combi telescope". Load handling devices of this type are mainly used in automated small parts warehouses (AS/RS) for storing and retrieving boxes, for example, in and out of storage racks. See also the application example Storage/retrieval system (SRS). The implemented combi telescope consists of a telescope and up to four belts. The following figure shows a schematic representation of such a load handling device.

The specifications for the storage depth, box dimensions as well as the dynamics parameters of the group of the telescope and the belts are made via the fieldbus, described with the process data interface (PD interface). The MOVIKIT^® Gearing software module is used for the lower-level axes (telescope and belts). This means that MOVIKIT^® Gearing is the basis for the software module.
