Automatic import

Load all configuration files from import directory at program start

Activate the automatic loading of configuration files from the import directory (C:\ProgramData\SEW\SmartDataCollector\import) at the start of the program.

INFORMATION: Objects contained in the current configuration (e.g. containers and endpoints) with the same ID are overwritten during import. This means that adjustments made since the last program start will be lost. To prevent overwriting, first create a copy of the object before adjusting it to obtain an object with a new ID.

Load the configuration files from the import directory (C:\ProgramData\SEW\SmartDataCollector\import) manually by clicking the button.

Export the current settings and the complete configuration or parts of the configuration to a file. During the export process, the following clean-up steps can also be performed on the application configuration:

• Remove all assigned device groups and devices from containers.
• Remove assigned endpoints from containers.

Import settings and a configuration from a file. The current settings and configurations are overwritten, and the new ones applied immediately.
