Backup (export)

To import a scope configuration, proceed as follows:

  1. Open the [Settings] menu and select the [General] tab.
  2. In the "Export settings" section, click [Export settings].
    • The "Options for cleaning up application configuration" dialog window appears, along with options for the export process. INFORMATION: The available cleaning options only delete the links from containers to device groups, devices and endpoints. Device groups, devices and endpoints themselves are still present.
  3. If required, make a selection in the "Options for cleaning up application configuration" dialog window and click [Continue export].
    • The file browser for specifying the storage location appears.
  4. Navigate to the desired storage location in the file browser and click [Save].
  • The software configuration is exported to the desired storage location as a JSON file.
