Local data backup path | Specify the local storage location where a copy of the configuration is to be saved at the set interval. |
Archiving period | Set how long the configuration is stored locally. The files will be deleted automatically at the end of the specified period. Changes to this setting are only applied when the software is restarted. |
Remote data backup | |
Endpoints on which data backups are to be saved | Select one of the configured endpoints as the storage location for the data backup. |
Relative remote path to endpoint | Specify the relative path to select the subdirectory for backing up data to the endpoint. |

Upload log files for telemetry analysis | Activate the periodic upload (every 10 min) of the log files of the utilities and select the required remote endpoints for this. |
Plant monitoring | |
Scan interval | Set the time interval after which an automatic scan is performed again. |
Time | Set the time for the automatic scan. |
Change detected on device | |
Enable detection of changed devices on known routes | Activate an additional check during the device scan to determine whether the IP addresses of known devices have changed. If IP addresses have changed, a corresponding message will be displayed on the dashboard. If the function is activated, the devices in question will not be assigned to the default group NEW_DEVICES. |
Device groups are updated when routes of known devices change | Activate this option if the IP address of a device changes and you wish to keep it in the group to which it is assigned. If this function is deactivated, devices whose IP address has changed will be removed from the groups. |
Automatically enable data collection for new devices if their default group is assigned to an active data container | Activate automatic data collection for new devices whose default group is assigned to an active data container. |
