Application data 1+2

The machine parameters of the application used are set via the "Application data 1/2" and "Application data 2/2" tabs. Configuration is the same as that for drive selection in the SEW-Workbench. More information can also be obtained from the tooltip ("i" symbol) for the respective parameter.

Depending on the application, you can select from the following methods of calculation when configuring the machine parameters:

Calculation method

Description

Static torque

Specify a static torque. The mathematical model only calculates the dynamic torque of acceleration and deceleration.

Specific resistance to vehicle motion

Specify a specific resistance to vehicle motion. The specific resistance to vehicle motion is dependent on weight and is stated in N/t for example.

Sliding friction

Specify a sliding friction for slide-mounted applications. The friction is determined by the weight and sliding factor.

Rolling resistance

Specify the rolling resistance for applications supported by wheels. The rolling resistance determines the static torque.

Roller bearing friction

The application is directly mounted on a bearing. The static torque results from the bearing friction forces.

Following DIN 22101

DIN standard calculation method for roller belt conveyors.
