Configuring MOVIKIT® EncoderInterface

  1. Open the configuration of the MOVIKIT® EncoderInterface.
  2. In the "EncoderInterface" configuration menu, select the "Advanced" value as the "Type" in the "EncoderInterface" section.
  3. Select the "Encoder 2 connected to inverter" setting as "Data source".
  4. Under "Axis name", select the axis with the MOVIKIT® FlyingSaw software module and external encoder card.
  5. Set the "Number of decimal places" to the same number as in "Drive train DT" of the inverter with the MOVIKIT® FlyingSaw software module. Do not change all the other parameters in the "Parameter user unit" section.
  6. Set the "1st derivative" to "active".
    • The "Settings of the 1st derivative" section is displayed.
  7. In the "Settings of the 1st derivative" section, set the "Dead time compensation" to "active".
  8. Set the dead time to 0.008 s.
