Automated guided vehicle (AGV) systems are currently used to automate transport processes in all industry sectors. Their advantage over other automated logistics systems is that they are highly flexible. The automatically controlled vehicles of the system can be used both inside and outside of buildings. This makes the AGVS an ideal application for contactless energy transfer.

The route can be adapted individually to the operational requirements. If the line cable is routed in the floor, the AGV travels over a completely level floor. Forklifts and lifting trolleys can cross the travel section without any problems.
