MOVIKIT® ParallelMode

MOVIKIT® ParallelMode is used to control and read several identical PES devices (same type and same performance class) with the same PES software module in combination (parallel operation). For this, one of the lower-level devices that are created under the MOVIKIT® ParallelMode takes over the leading role (master device) and the other devices follow it in current control mode (FCB 59). The grid condition, voltage, and storage diagnostic data are read from the master device. Power and currents are summed up from all connected devices. All storage diagnostics interfaces must be connected to the master device or the MOVIKIT® ParallelMode.

The operation of the MOVIKIT® ParallelMode corresponds to the operation of the software module in most respects.

Overview of functions
  • Control of devices connected in parallel as a single device (simplified operation)
  • Limited emergency mode possible in the event of a device failure (redundancy)
  • Provides collective status information
