Process input data

The following tables show the process input data from the inverter to the higher-level controller for control via the fieldbus.

Function/additional information

PI 1

Status word

0

"1": Device is ready for operation and no error is active in the software module

1

"1": Current operating mode active, but setpoint not yet reached.

2

"1": Output stage enable

3

"1": Power supply OK

MDP92A: All line phases are available and the voltage on all line phases is sufficient for normal operation.

MDE90A: The "Grid OK" signal is transmitted by the power supply module (module bus master). The power supply is sufficient for operation.

If even a single phase drops, the bit goes to "0". The possible cause is a voltage dip in one or more phases. The error responses can be parameterized. See the manual of the respective device for more information.

4

"1": Supply active (B -> A)

The device feeds a current ≥ 1 A into the DC link and the output stage of the device is enabled.

5

"1": Supply active (A -> B)

The device feeds a current > 1 A into the connected energy storage unit and the output stage of the device is enabled.

6

Energy storage unit connected

"1": The energy storage unit is connected to the DC link (in case of connectable energy storage units). The software module has successfully completed a corresponding synchronization process and has connected the storage unit.

PI 1

Status word

7

"1": Setpoint reached – the active operating mode signals that the setpoint has been reached.

  • 500/501 – StateOfChargeControl:
  • Setpoint for state of charge reached
  • 510 – StorageDischarger:
  • Target voltage of the discharge has been reached
  • 511 – StorageDischarger:
  • Target voltage of the discharge has been reached
  • 521 – DC synchronization:
  • Storage unit successfully disconnected
  • 522 – DC synchronization:
  • Storage unit successfully synchronized and connected
  • 580/590 – Fallback/automatic:
  • The DC link is ready for operation and the connected axes can be moved.
  • 591 – Automatic discharge mode: Discharging process completed.

8

"1": Error

9

"1": Warning

10

  • "1": The B-side is the controlled side
  • "0": The A-side is the controlled side

(Applies only to the MDE90A device)

11

"1": State of charge low

The state of charge has a value below the specified operating range.

12

"1": State of charge high

The state of charge has a value above the specified operating range.

13

"1": Current limit active

A current limit is set by the software module and restricts the power supply. The operation of connected axes should be stopped.

14

"1": Standby mode active
