Connection via Ethernet/IPTM

Devices with the PROFINET IO, EtherNet/IP^™ Modbus TCP, or POWERLINK fieldbus interface have an integrated 2-port Ethernet switch for connecting fieldbus technology. For engineering purposes, you can establish the connection between the computer and the device via Ethernet. The connection is established via interface X40/X41 of the fieldbus interface.

For the connection, you need an industrial-grade Ethernet connection cable RJ45/RJ45.
