Acknowledging a limit value violation of a safety subfunction

After a limit violation of a safety subfunction has been identified, the status of this function will become inactive. In addition, a fault of the "FS Warning" class will be set.

A limit violation must always be acknowledged.

A limit violation cannot be acknowledged through deactivation of the safety subfunction. With the exception of this, the parameterization of the fault response is at "F-PI only". With the SSM, SSR, and SLA safety subfunctions, the error is acknowledged by deactivating the safety subfunction.

The acknowledgment always affects all safety subfunctions. The safety subfunction can still be activated during acknowledgment.

Parameterized speed filters of the safety subfunctions that have triggered a limit violation are reset.

Note the following behavior of the safety subfunctions during an acknowledgment:

  • SOS, SDI:
  • The limit positions are recalculated.
  • SLI:
  • The actual position is reset. This recalculates the limit position.
  • SLS:
  • The delay time and the transition ramp will not be recalculated; there will be an immediate monitoring of the limit speed.
  • SS1/2:
  • The delay time and the transition ramp are not recalculated; the final state becomes immediately active (STO, SOS, SLI activation).
  • SSR:
  • The limit speeds are monitored once the delay time has lapsed.
