Startup requirements
The following prerequisites are required for startup:
- You have installed the device correctly both mechanically and electrically.
- The device and connected drives have been configured correctly.
- You have taken suitable measures to ensure that the drives do not start up unintentionally.
- Safety precautions rule out hazards to personnel and machinery.
If you are using a power-adjusted motor, you can, depending on requirements, dispense with startup, see chapter Operation without startup.
Otherwise you can perform startup in the following ways:
- Using a keypad
- Using the MOVISUITE® engineering software
