Current-carrying capacity of the brake chopper

The resistance value of the braking resistor R_BR must not be lower than the minimum permitted braking resistance R_{BR_min}, see chapter Technical data. This ensures that the brake chopper is not damaged.

The continuous braking power toward the braking resistor must not exceed the apparent output power of the inverter.
