Tools required
Before replacing the DSK modules, ensure that the following tools are available:
- EKD-003 discharge unit (part number: 28265610)
- EKD universal adapter cable UKE11A (part number: 28157214)
- Short-circuit connector (part number: 28149874)
- Multimeter (voltage measurement, CAT III 1000 V/CAT IV 600 V in accordance with IEC 61010-1)
- Two-pole voltage tester in accordance with DIN EN 61243‑3
- Multi-function installation tester or high voltage tester for performing an insulation resistance test in accordance with EN 60204‑1 and a protective earth connection test in accordance with EN 61800‑5‑1
- Torque wrench
- M8 (wrench size 13, tightening torque: 20 Nm)
- M10 (wrench size 17, tightening torque: 30 Nm)
- Insulated single-core cable (e.g. H07V‑K), M8 and M10 forked cable lugs attached to cable ends
- Cross section: ≥ 2.5 mm2
- Length: approx. 1 m
- Standard service tool kit (hexagon socket, open-end wrench, VDE screwdriver set)
- Double-sided adhesive tape
