Signal analysis
Each module of the energy storage unit provides the following signals that can be analyzed by the SEW-PLC:
- Module temperature
- Module overvoltage
The MOVIKIT® Power and Energy Solutions modules analyze these two measurements for each module and, also with the aid of the data sheet values, also additionally calculate the following values per module, which are then provided to the IEC programmer:
- Modular temperature fault (T < -40 °C)
- Modular temperature fault (T > 65 °C)
- Modular temperature warning (T > 60 °C)
In addition, a door position switch is available that can be evaluated via terminals X1:4 and X1:5. A 24 V voltage may be applied to these terminals.
The signal of the door position switch can optionally be used to perform a customer-specific evaluation of whether the door of the energy storage system is open or closed. In the standard case, the signal is not evaluated.
