Outside the standard temperature range, SEW-EURODRIVE gearmotors can be operated in deep-freeze environments with ambient temperatures as low as -30 °C through customized project planning. The project planning must take into account the special operating conditions and adapt the drive to the ambient conditions by selecting suitable lubricants and seals. SEW-EURODRIVE recommends thermal project planning for the drives in general and offers to perform the project planning for you.
