Service factor for helical-worm gear units

In case of helical-worm gear units, the following 2 service factors must be observed:

  • fB1 = Service factor based on ambient temperature
  • fB2 = Service factor from cyclic duration factor

The additional service factors fB1 and fB2 can be determined by referring to the diagram below. For fB1, the load classification is taken into account in the same way as for fB_L. The following diagram shows the additional service factors fB1 and fB2:
