– Check the connection of the braking resistor.

– Decrease deceleration.

– Check the configuration of the braking resistor (resistance value).

Description: DC link discharge failed

Measure

DC link voltage level not dropped below discharge threshold within discharge time.

Description: Permitted voltage between PE and DC link exceeded

Measure

Permitted tolerance range of voltage -Uz measured against PE exceeded.

– Reduce dynamic load change from motoring operation to regenerative operation.

– Check the project planning with line filter.

– Check the wiring.

Description: DC link undervoltage

Measure

DC link voltage exceeded lower limit and output stage inhibited by hardware.

– Reduce the dynamic load change from regenerative operation to motoring operation.

– Check previous error, e.g. line phase failure or power off in motoring operation.

Description: DC link overcurrent

DC link current too high in motor or generator mode.

– In motor mode:

– Check whether the load is too high.

– Check the project planning.

– In generator mode:

– Check whether the braking resistance value is too low-impedance.

– Check whether a short circuit has occurred on the braking resistor.

Description: Overvoltage at the A-side or B-side

Excessive regenerative power of an actuator.

Check the application.

The error can be caused as follows:

– The energy storage unit is dimensioned too small.

– The fuse has tripped.

Check the project planning.

Ground fault detected at the positive terminal on the A-side or B-side.

Eliminate ground fault.

The error can be caused as follows:

– The braking resistor is dimensioned too small.

– The fuse has tripped.

Check the project planning.

Excessive recharging power from the grid.

Check the application.

Description: Undervoltage at the A-side or B-side

Excessive motor power of an actuator.

Check the application.

Energy storage unit dimensioned too small.

Check the project planning.

Excessive motor power.

Check the application.

Insufficient recharging power from power grid.

Check the application.

The energy storage unit has reached the end of its useful life.

Replace the energy storage unit.

Description: Short circuit at the A-side or B-side

Measure

The error can be caused as follows:

– The maximum permitted DC link voltage limit of the rectifier was exceeded.

– The AC voltage component of the DC link voltage is too high.

– Check the system and nearby devices for ground faults.

– Check the quality of the supply system (line voltage distortion).

– Check the line voltage

Description: Load before connecting the grid

 

 

Cause

Measure

The DC link was overloaded after completion of pre-charging and before connecting the supply system. The delay in connection of the supply system can be caused by a second line contactor, for example.

Eliminate the cause for the delayed grid connection.

Error: 7.13 (070Dhex | 1805dec)

Description: Isolation overrun

 

 

Cause

Measure

The effective value of the voltage +Va or the voltage +Vb measured against PE is above the permitted insulation voltage for a longer period of time. This can be due to the following reasons:

– The voltages +Va and +Vb have an unfavorable ratio.

– The leakage currents against PE are not balanced.

– The insulation is faulty.

– Reduce the excessive voltage or increase the voltage of the other side.

or

– Eliminate the insulation fault.

The effective value of the voltage -Vz measured against PE is above the permitted insulation voltage for a longer period of time. This can be due to the following reasons:

– The leakage currents against PE are not balanced.

– The insulation is faulty.

– Acknowledge the warning.

– If the warning occurs again, switch the device off and on again.

or

– Eliminate the insulation fault.

– If the warning occurs repeatedly, contact SEW‑EURODRIVE Service.

Error: 7.14 (070Ehex | 1806dec)

Description: Overvoltage on the DC link busbar

Check the project planning.

A fuse has tripped.

– Check fuse.

– Check the project planning.

Excessive recharging power from the grid.

Check the application.

Excessive regenerative power of an actuator.

Check the application.

Description: Short circuit at the A-side
