Setting up the fieldbus connection

Perform the following steps to set up the fieldbus connection of the software module:

  1. Open the "Module configuration" > "Fieldbus interface" configuration menu.
  2. In the "Fieldbus configuration" section, set the value of the field "Activate fieldbus connection" to "Yes".
    • More fields for settings are displayed.
  3. If necessary, adjust the values of the other settings fields to the requirements of your system.
  • The fieldbus connection is set up, the resulting process data assignment is displayed, and the MOVIKIT® fieldbus monitor for monitoring and controlling the fieldbus interface is added to the IEC project as part of the update process.
