LogicalDevice encoder axis

The logical device "LogicalDevice encoder axis" represents an external encoder. The position value of an external encoder is formatted and provided as a master signal (e.g. for MC_CamIn) via the logical device.

To operate an axis of the "Encoder Axis" type, the function block MC_SEW_EncoderAxis must be called in addition to the logical device LogicalDevice encoder axis. The function block must be called cyclically in the HighPrio task and is used to transfer the encoder position to the logical device "LogicalDevice encoder axis". A 2nd encoder or an external encoder can be used as the encoder source.
