MOVIRUN® open
MOVIRUN® open is the software platform for motion control and automation solutions – especially for users who want to use more than just parameterizable movements from SEW‑EURODRIVE on the MOVI-C® CONTROLLER. The MOVI-C® CONTROLLER thus becomes an added-value platform for the customer's own software expertise.
The CODESYS-based MOVIRUN® open Editor supports the programmer throughout the entire engineering process. Everything takes place in one tool – from selecting and configuring software functions to creating the program and testing in simulation or with real hardware. Many software functions of the MOVIKIT® software modules (e.g. synchronous operation, electronic cam, cam switch) can be easily integrated and controlled via standardized PLCopen function blocks. The configuration and operation of numerous interfaces such as PROFINET master, OPC UA or EtherCAT®, as well as the creation of visualizations (either as web visualization on the MOVI-C® CONTROLLER or stand-alone on a Windows operating system) also takes place in this programming environment.
In addition, CODESYS offers numerous add-ons such as source code management, test manager, and static code analysis that provide optimum support for programmers in the software development process.
