Creating a new region

Proceed as follows:

  • You are authorized to create a new region.
  • The regions overview page is open.
  1. Open the creation dialog by clicking the [NEW...] button.
  2. Name the region.
  3. Enter the online support URL for the respective SEW-EURODRIVE region.
  4. Perform OPTIME authentication. To do so, enter the Schaeffler OPTIME API key, consisting of the application ID and the application secret. The API key is generated in the Schaeffler API Developer Portal. To ensure a stable and secure connection between the software and Schaeffler OPTIME, SEW-EURODRIVE adjusts the API key at least once a year as part of key rotations.
  5. Optionally, enter a description for the region.
  6. To save the settings, click the [SAVE] button.
  • The new region has been created.
  • The overview page of the regions is displayed.
