Creating a new instance group

Proceed as follows:

  • You are authorized to create a new instance group.
  • The instance groups overview page is open.
  1. Open the creation dialog by clicking the [NEW...] button.
  2. Name the instance group.
  3. Optionally, select a region you wish to assign the instance group to. If you do not select a region, the instance group is automatically assigned to the Global region.
  4. Optionally, select the instances you want to assign to the instance group from the selected region.
  5. To save the settings, click the [SAVE] button.
  • The new instance group has been created.
  • The overview page of the instance groups is displayed.
