Dimensioning of power supply

The power supply with the nominal voltage of DC 48 V (voltage range DC 22 V – DC 59 V) must provide the power demand for all connected MOVIMOT^® performance ELV drive units. Determine the maximum input power demand of the drive units taking into account an increased power demand in the overload range as well as concurrency factors in the case of operation of multiple drive units from one supply.

Example: A power supply unit with a rated power of 500 W enables operation of a drive unit within the rated range. In the event of dynamic capacity utilization, the power demand can be significantly higher for a short time.
