­MOVIKIT^® ­MultiAxisController ­addon ­CurveLimitation

The software module extends the range of functions of the ­MOVIKIT^® ­MultiAxisController software module by the option of curve travel without triggering the SLS safety function (safely limited speed) and without exceeding the configured maximum speed. Depending on the direction of movement, the speed of the axis group members is limited so that they do not exceed the setpoint speed. The speed ratios between the drive wheels are specified by the curve geometry and are still maintained by the ­MOVIKIT^® ­MultiAxisController software module. This results in a speed reduction of an axis group member.

The function is typically used for track-guided vehicles with several travel drives that have to travel through curves. These can include storage/retrieval systems, automated guided vehicle systems, or electric monorail systems and electric floor conveyors.
