Using the operating modes

Exceeding the target position and unwanted changes of direction of the machine when changing the value without a fieldbus connection

Limit the jerk transferred via the fieldbus for the operating modes by configuring the "Jerk" limit value in the "Monitoring functions" configuration menu in the "Limit values" submenu.

In the operating modes (e.g. jog, speed specification), the transferred jerk takes effect via the input in the IEC program or via the PO 9 process data word. The change to this jerk is only applied in the idle state when using the fieldbus connection. The change takes effect immediately when changing the value without a fieldbus connection.
