The conical encoders from SEW-EURODRIVE of the type EK8R/EV8R, EK8C/EV8C, EK8S/EV8S, EK8Z, AK8W/AV8W, AK8Y/AV8Y and AK8Z are offered by the manufacturers Baumer Hübner GmbH and Fritz Kübler GmbH. SEW-EURODRIVE uses two suppliers to ensure availability and short delivery times. Each type is compatible and interchangeable, even if the encoder is designed as a safety-related encoder or used in a potentially explosive area.
