Special features of size 5: DC link status information

If a size 5 device is connected to the MDR60A.. regenerative power supply, the inverter must receive the "Ready for operation" signal from the MDR60.. regenerative power supply. This information can be sent either via a digital input or a control bit in the process data.

• Assign the "DC link ready" function to a digital input under [Functions] > [Inputs/Outputs] > [Basic unit].

or

• Assign the "DC link ready" function to a bit of the control word under [Functions] > [Setpoints] > [Control word].

If the DC link must not be connected to a load, the inverter remains in the "Not ready" state.
