Description

A line choke ND... can be used as an option:

  • To support overvoltage protection
  • To smoothen the line current, to reduce harmonics
  • For protection in the event of distorted line voltage
  • Limiting the charging current when several inverters are connected together in parallel on the input end with a shared line contactor (nominal current of line choke = total of inverter currents)

Connect a line choke for limiting the inrush current:

  • With 5 or more 3-phase devices
  • With 2 or more 1-phase devices
  • for each inverter MCX91A-0110-2E1-4..

Using a line choke per inverter is mandatory with MCX91A-0110-2E1-4-..

Sizes 7 and 8 have an integrated line choke. An additional line choke is only required for a DC link connection of several devices, see manual MOVI-C® DC link connection.
