Cut length control

A typical area of application for the "flying saw" is the woodworking industry. In the following application example, long pressed particle boards are cut to a certain dimension.

The software module controls the drive for the feed of the saw carriage along the longitudinal axis. To simplify matters, the control of the drive for the feed of the saw is neglected in the application example. A virtual axis with linear position is used instead of a real external encoder.
