Module description
MOVIKIT® FlyingSaw software module is a software module used for implementing applications with machining processes in which a tool synchronizes to the material being machined in a linear motion.
Examples of applications include:
- Cutting of moving continuous material (flying saw)
- Synchronous material transport (filling stations)
- Flying stamp
- Flying knife
A distinction is made between the following application types:
- Parallel saw
- The saw carriage travels with the material. The feed of the saw is triggered by a separate drive.
- Diagonal saw
- The saw carriage moves diagonally to the material direction. In this case, only one drive is required.
Possible master sources:
- An external encoder mounted slip-free on the material web and connected to the inverter of the flying saw
- A motor encoder on the material feed drive
More information can be found in the chapter Functional description.
