Creating a boot application

To ensure the previous program starts automatically after switching the MOVI‑C® CONTROLLER off and on again, you must create a boot application. If a change is made to the IEC project, the boot application must be recreated. Otherwise the old program will be started after switching the MOVI‑C® CONTROLLER off and on again. The fault-free boot application is always switched to the "Run" state after having activated the MOVI‑C® CONTROLLER.

  1. Open the [Online] menu and click the [Create boot application] menu entry.
    • The boot application is saved on the MOVI‑C® CONTROLLER so that the MOVI‑C® CONTROLLER starts with the IEC program after it has been switched off and on again.
