Parameter group

Description

Additional functions

Variable jerk time (1 PD)

  • Off
  • On
  • This additional function extends the range of functions by providing the ability to specify the jerk time. The additional function extends the process data length by one process data word.
  • INFORMATION: When using the additional function, refer to the more detailed information in chapter Variable jerk time via process data.

Index: 8347.6, offset 0, bit 13

Parameter channel via process data (5 PD)

INFORMATION: The writing of data is volatile and therefore not power-failure proof.

  • Off
  • On
  • This additional function extends the range of functions by the option of reading and writing inverter parameters. The additional function extends the process data length by 5 process data words. For further information, refer to chapter Parameter channel via process data.

Variable torque limit Q1 (2 PD)

  • Off
  • On
  • This additional function activates the utilization of the control word for the torque limit. This control word can also be used to deactivate the speed monitoring and lag error monitoring.
  • The torque limit of the inverter in % nominal motor torque can be specified variably via process data. This value is limited by the "Torque" application limit or the "Minimum torque limit" parameter.
  • If the specification of the torque limit via process data is 0%, the setting of the parameter "Use torque limits from profile value connection" (Index 8563.2, bit 0 and 8564.2, bit 0) determines how the torque limit is interpreted via process data.

Use torque limits from profile value connection

INFORMATION: The parameter group is not displayed until the additional function "Variable torque limit Q1 (2 PD)" is active.

  • Off
  • The variable torque limit via fieldbus (control word) is only effective in the following drive functions:
    • FCB 05 Speed control
    • FCB 09 Positioning control
    • FCB 12 Reference travel
  • A torque limit of 0% corresponds to a motor torque of 0%. The "Minimum torque limit" parameter is also taken into account.
  • On
  • The variable torque limit is additionally effective in the following drive functions:
    • FCB 02 Stop standard
    • FCB 13 Stop at application limit
    • FCB 14 Emergency stop
    • FCB 26 Stop at user-defined limits
  • A torque limit of 0% corresponds to the torque from the application limit. When the torque limit is > 0%, the minimum torque limit is taken into account.
  • In torque control operating mode (800), the "Torque" application limit is always effective in the stop FCBs.

Index: 8563.2, bit 0 for drive train 1 and 8564.2, bit 0 for drive train 2

Minimum torque limit

INFORMATION: The parameter group is not displayed until the additional function "Variable torque limit Q1 (2 PD)" is active.

Limitation of the minimum possible torque limit via process data.

  • Torque in % nominal motor torque
  • Relative apparent current in % nominal unit current
  • Absolute apparent current in amperes
