Installing the configuration tool

The installation program modifies entries in the Windows registry. Make sure that the appropriate authorization to modify registry entries is granted.

Proceed as follows:

  1. Start the installation file MOVI-C.FS.DeviceConfigHelper.Setup with administrator rights. To do so, right-click the file to open the context menu and select [Run as administrator].
    • A wizard is started that guides you through the installation steps.
  2. Accept the end user license agreement (EULA).
  3. If necessary, specify that the configuration tool automatically checks for available updates on a regular basis.
    • If an update is available, this is indicated by a red dot in the information window of the tool.
  4. Select the installation path. By default, the installation program installs all required files on the Windows system in the subdirectory C:\Program Files (x86)\SEW\MOVI-C.FS.DeviceConfigHelper.
